can it be possible to create something like gtk-qt, only the other way around?

abstract:
when using ubuntu as the desktop, what's important are the applications, not the toolkits they where written with.

rationale:
applications are important, unified look of the desktop is important.
why not have the applications use a unified look?

solution suggestion;
will it be possible to create something similar to gtk-qt
http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/gtk-qt
only in the other direction?
(meaning: qt apps to look like gtk apps).

it may be a subset of portland project, i do not know.

another solution will be to provide a qt theme for each of the default gtk
themes that ubuntu provides, which is, i assume, hugely time consuming.
(not that creating a qt-theme-engine isn't, but this solution provides a
more general approach)

impact:
should be a part of fd.o spec, and not only a ad-hoc solution
