Assuring quality in ubuntu kernel releases
In order to deliver high expectations of quality, there is a need for more focused kernel testing as part of the release process. The following needs have been defined.
Creation of a list of hardware that is representative and/or targeted for quality by the kernel
Enhanced and improved kernel testing coverage against the list of hardware
A more refined process that assures hardware meets expectations before a kernel release
