Would be interesting to allow ubuntu to prefetch applications onto a USB flash drive. Would most likely be applications associated with the OS, but could use for personal apps as well. Would allow for faster loading times and less strain on HDDs. If the USB drive were to be removed, Ubuntu would be able to load the same app from HDD.
