since pretty is a feature, ask the users what they think is pretty
since prettiness is a priority, asking the users (no necessarily ubuntu users)
what they find pretty can be useful to determine between several options.
a poll gives a good indication, and will have a better chance to find what most people
understand as beautiful than handing that decision to a small group , and since the aim
is toward the widest crowd, the larger the sampling is, the better the result
will be (rule of large numbers, beauty as an average, etc).
added a poll at ubuntuforums:

1. imho, using existing, non ubuntulooks theme can and should be considered - there's
good stuff out there!
2. same can be done for every other graphical element, since the same logic applies.
