OpenOffice Quickstarter Option on First-Time Use

Registered by F.H.

SUGGESTION: On a fresh installation of Ubuntu, when the user launches OpenOffice for the first time, the computer should display a super-simple dialog asking the user if he/she wants OpenOffice always to be preloaded in memory to speed up its startup time.

RATIONALE: For less-technically-inclined individuals who need office applications every day, enabling the OpenOffice Quickstarter is really a *must*, yet many of these individuals don't even know about this OpenOffice feature. (Same thing can be said about many professional reviewers who invariably complain about OpenOffice being slow in Ubuntu.) Adding this small feature would save countless hours of OpenOffice startup time for a large number of regular users.

Whiteboard

where can I find the manual intructions to enable this on Ed/X/Ubuntu ?

I think it's not the case as the new OpenOffice.org 2.2 opens very quickly.
