Cluster-integration

Registered by kranebitt

I am working as an accountant in an electrician's company. We are eight people who work in the office at random times. Our tasks reach from normal accounting jobs to creating 3D applications on AutoCad or plotting big graphs.
Therefore our computers are only randomly used and usually wokr at different rates.
I think that there is a huge potential for Ubuntu in integrating it's core software with a cluster-solution such as beowulf or even better, openMosix, which is going to stop being developed and which could now need the UbuntuCommunity to take it over.
This way, Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04 would become a great solution for small businesses, school classes or small research labs that wish to work with clusters but can't afford to get programmers to set up a huge cluster.
I think, using mosix, for the Ubuntu programmers it wouldn't be too much of a problem to set up an automatical cluster-installation, possibly with a nice GUI and AppleBonjour-look and feel, meaning an easy t set up solution even for end-users in order attract new users from the business sector.
