There should be a gui for a simple one-click deb/rpm installation from the file manager for ubuntu/

We have one-click deb install already (with the gdebi tool in ubuntu). I'm not sure one-click rpm install is something we can actually do given that there dependency space is more likely pretty different from ours. -- mvo
I was refering more to the Kubuntu Package Menu actually. When I wrote this before, I hadn't used ubuntu too much and still haven't. Anyway, I think a 1 click deb install should grab the deb, look for dependencies and then look online if not found, and get them if possible.
