Notify users when their hard drive knows its dying

Most new hard drives have S.M.A.R.T. capabilities that know, sometimes, that it is experiencing problems, even if things seem normal to everything else. This is an especially handy feature to average users, as most people do not have regular or consistent backup solutions. However, most operating systems do not take advantage of this technology. I propose that Ubuntu take advantage of this technology in a similar fashion to it's "Battery Health" notification.
