Netbooks (Acer One and EeePC)

Registered by arnaud

Hello,

I wonder if the version of Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid) will take care of the equipment on the Netbook (EeePC and Acer One) among others.

Ie:

The management of Intel Atom, SSD drives (fast reading and writing), Atheros wireless module AR5BXB63 (AR5007), The SD card JMicron (JMB38X).

Thank you.

Whiteboard

After using the alpha-ubuntu Intrepid, 18 September 2008, I noticed that the WiFi was not working natively, and the SD Multi-player (right). SD drive has left works fine on Intrepid. (Edit: it also works under ubuntu 8.04)

Despite the kernel 2.6.27, no access to the temperature of the Intel Atom (http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/4066/capsensorszs7.png) while a patch exists for this kernel.
