Automatic Configuration of Ndiswrapper for non-Linux Supported Drivers

Hi guys, I think that Ubuntu should have a tool that automatically configures non-Linux supported drivers with ndiswrapper(on first install). I am aware that NdisGTK is available, but some people are no able to do this kind of stuff. I think that the Ubuntu live CD should attempt to automatically configure those drivers not naturally supported by Linux. Maybe a directory of commonly used .inf's and ndiswrapper pointing to those?
