Whiteboard

[rsalveti] The enna work was dropped as we decided to then work on enabling xbmc (what should happen at precise). Linaro is planning to integrate XBMC at the 11.12 release: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/linaro-ubuntu/+spec/package-xmbc-for-ubuntu-and-leb

Work Items (natty-alpha-3):
[rsalveti] Investigate available media solutions (xmbc, freevo, enna, entertainer, movida, canola): DONE
[rsalveti] Identify the best one that's gstreamer compatible (currently it's still enna, but xbmc is the future): DONE
[gruemaster] Investigate remote control solutions: DONE

Work Items (ubuntu-11.04-beta-1):
[rsalveti] Create a wiki page with detailed instructions how to use the best supported setop-box application (enna), showing how to optimize and get the best result available with Beagle and Pandaboard: POSTPONED

[rsalveti March 1] As creating another task would mean a lot to maintain (supporting from minimal image implies we need a task that brings X, gdm, network-manager, proper session log-in and such), and something that would be radically changed for N+1 (xbmc is the future), making sure it works without bugs, documenting it and linking to the release notes is our best option for Natty.
