GUI for Xdmx to allow an easy interface for non-geeks

Registered by dei

Xdmx is some kind of multihead-emulation to use two (or more) computers or laptops as a desktop-enlargement.
The target is to implement a easy to use graphical user interface for it, so that a non-geek can also configure the application. (Similar like Maxivista)

Whiteboard

Bah Humbug: This already exists in the form of Xdmx http://dmx.sourceforge.net/, its available in the repo's already. A frontend to it would be nice though
André Götz: Thx for the hint. I altered the Blueprint to implementing a GUI for it.
André Götz: Will wait for changes and support for xrandr and changes in Xorg 7.4 as for intrepid it's planned quite much in this direction.
André Götz: Now that GDM2 is in, I'm starting to try to implement something...
