Request for mtPaint to be included in the repositories

This is a very full-featured little paint program, that would be great for xubuntu, ubuntu-lite and fluxbuntu users.
The Gimp is way too resource intensive for those computers, and gpaint and xpaint are not very feature rich.
They already have an ubuntu package for download at the site, so why can't it be included?
