a "mount -t iso9660 front-end"
Many users think that they need a third party software to create a virtual device to help then "mount" iso or cue images.
There can be an "Mount image" option on a drop-down menu (OR a software with a GUI), to help the "scared of consoles"-users (or the people who don't have the time to learn how to use terminals, altough it's easy to catch up).
The "Mount Image" option opens a "open file" widget to find an image on the filesystem. Then they choose where to mount it (maybe the software can explain the "what is mount?" question) OR let the software create a /tmp dir.
After, the "Umount Image" can be added as well.
In simple words: a front end for "mount" and "umoun" iso files

Whiteboard
I'm thinking about a simple bash script using gksudo and zenity (for gnome) or something else for other desktops (i do not use any other desktops).
