Close open windows with middle click on the panel

I was thinking it would be cool if you could CLOSE open windows by middle clicking on the filename on the panel, instead of right clicking and selecting close or moving the mouse to the close button on the window. I'm so used to closing tabs with the middle mouse button, that I find it frustrating not to be able to do it on the panel.
