Drivers for printer LBP 2900

I'm using Ubuntu 9.10, but I can not print with my printer Canon LBP 2900 on Ubuntu. The Ubuntu 9.10 does not include drivers for that printer. I tried to install it manually. The printer is recognised by Ubuntu but it does not want to print. I also tried this http://
Could you please include drivers for that printer in next distro so that my printer would work "out of the box".
