Logon screen with only a password

My first chock with using Ubuntu: I've to write my name to login... Why not simple selecting the account and enter like in Windows or OS X?

And, also, there should be an easy way to get rid of the password for logging on the computer. At home we don't need generally to use passwords... It just gets boring.
