Request for an official Lazarus package

I want to request a package for the Lazarus FreePascal RAD environment.

Lazarus is fully licensed under the terms of the GPL.

I request this because:
 - A lot of schools (at least here in Germany) are using Delphi in school and Lazarus is a free alternative to that closed-source RAD tool
 - I read a good number of tutorials and questions about installing Lazarus under Ubuntu and this would make things much easier

I hope that there is someone with a good knowledge of Pascal in the MOTU team so that we see a package soon.

(pls compile with gtk instead of gtk2 as gtk2 is not yet as good as gtk1 in this case)
