Kubuntu sound recorder by default (like Ubuntu)

Kubuntu has not got a sound recorder by default (like Ubuntu or Windows)
I find two projetcs in the repositories: krec and krecord.
KRec depends of aRts and is more complete than KRecord.
KRecord works OK with ALSA and is simpler than KRec.
