Kubuntu autostart applications manager

Registered by Toni Helenius

I don't really know about Ubuntu, but Kubuntu could use an easy way of adding applications to start up after login. This tool could be located in the System Settings.

My use case:
By default Kubuntu remembers the old session. That's ok, but not all the programs support this. And I recently switched it off since Kubuntu always started with almost 150 processes running, which may cause some performance issues. But now since there is no memory I can't get my applications like Kopete to start up automatically.

I appreciate the limitless possibilities to add scripts in the AUTOSTART-directory, BUT to avoid any unnecessary Linux -stuff (Konsole things, and other harder stuff in life) I would like to see a graphical tool for this.

My suggestion:
A simple tool in System Settings that can select applications with parameters and maybe even some console code :) to execute on log in of the selected user.

Maybe there is one, but I haven't found it? In that case, sorry!
