It would be nice to consider exposing the information in the hwdb in a more palatable interface than strictly an API. The only alternative right now are the HardwareSupport section under the ubuntu wiki:

Instead, perhaps we could create a cron to mine the relevant data from the hwdb and programmatically generate the corresponding hardware pages in one of the above locations.
