I would like to have an initscript that would execute the commands in one file on startup and another file on shutdown

I would appreciate having an admin tool that consists of an initscript that would execute the commands in a file on startup and a different file on shutdown. This way if there is a command that needs to be run on either startup or shutdown it could be simply added to the file. This would require adding three files to the initscripts package.
