Firefox vs. Chrom(e)(ium)

Registered by Nathanel Titane

Provide a faster, more integrated default browser experience, other that the true Gnome solution (Epiphany). Firefox does not seem to be the adequate choice for our distribution spin as it does not hold the same requirements in terms of package dependencies and aesthetic requirements (global menu, Unity, themes).

Using a Cr browser would provide out-of-the-box visual and functional integration, without dragging unnecessary dependencies or having to set modified package descriptors.

It is also proven that Cr browsers have a usually faster, more integrated, all-round web behavior, which could help alleviate the lack of Unity-based web integration protocols.
