gnome-volume-control needs volume slider for playback microphone volume and a mute button

Registered by Petri Järvisalo

Gnome-volume-control needs urgently a volume slider for microphone playback volume plus possible a mute button. The controls should be persistent, ie. not binded to anything as older sound hardware doesn't have sensors to detect if microphone is plugged in. These settings shouldn't affect input volume, only the sound coming out the speakers/headphones.
At the moment there's no native graphical way of doing this, you can alter the playback volume with alsamixer on terminal or install gtk alsamixer to achieve this.
