- simple solution: work with screenshots.debian.net and provide patches to add package data sources like archive.canonical.com
- problem: this will not scale to PPAs

- alternative solution: provide meta-data in Packages or app-install-data (that moves to repository-archive-based-indexes) to point to the screenshot/screenshot site
