Flash cards could be used for write-ahead along with prefetch

Prefetch only preloads the mostly used applications. But flash cards could also be used for write caching. This is better than caching to RAM, as data isn't lost on AC failure. This configuration would allow the HDD to be turned off most off the time. Spinning up is done only then write-cach is full or needed data isn't in the flash card.
