Filezilla into Gutsy Gibbon
Coming from a windows environment over to Ubuntu Linux, I have had a relatively hard time finding a reliable ftp client.
I eventually stumbled upon Filezilla which seems to me to have the best combination of features.
I think that FileZilla should come with the default ubuntu install, with the latest release, as opposed to Gftp which does not seem as stable or nearly as user friendly..
I also noticed with adept and synaptic package manager the latest available is Filezilla-Beta 7, while the actual most recent release is Filezilla 3.0.0 RC2. Being that Im a total newbie when it comes to linux, I have a hard time installing the update for filezilla, I discovered that it needed some 4 or more packages that I did not have, It would be nice if the Synaptic Package Manager was up to date with the filezilla packages also..

Whiteboard
Filezilla 3.0 Final is already in gutsy. We only have to move it to main repository! That would be great! Or install as default!
