Faster Networked X through NX

Registered by Fabianx

Solutions like CITRIX are still booming. Ubuntu already is able to display applications running on a remote server via VNC and SSH -X. NX is a new solution, which makes this possible using the X protocol - being as fast as CITRIX.

However NX has some issues:

* NX ships one whole (forked off) X11R6 source tree, which _might_ still contain security issues.

* NX is licensed under GPL, while X11R6 is licensed under MIT.
