Whiteboard
Adobe's PDF reader allows users to read PDF in a browser. This should be possible with Evince, and enabled by default, but with an easy way to disable it.
A present problem is when a pdf contains relative hyperlinks, if the present download and view mechanism, the hyperlinks fail without a message to the user.
--------------
Embedding is possible with mozplugger: http://
If you use the 'stream' flag, relative links will work but not in the same window. See https:/
Drawback if authentication is required (taken from the mozplugger manual):
Note: if a username and password is required for this URL, the command/application will have to obtain this as it is not passed to it from the browser.
