Getting teacher input to shape our education offering

Registered by Richard Weideman

A discussion on how to get teacher input and feedback which we can use to:
#1 shape our education offering
#2 get "endorsement" from the teachers that we provide a teaching environment as well as a desktop

Suggestions to date have been that we:
#1 collaborate with other education distros, including the derivatives, who have teacher panels
(such as the spanish MAX, Guadalinex etc.)
#2 work with edubuntu community contributors who are teachers, to host or facilitate a regular virtual meeting and QAS sessions
#3 make use of the mailing lists to send regular news / polls / requests targetted specifically at the teacher community to stimulate conversations and feedback
#4 identify project funding organisations to which we could submit a project proposal that specifically investigates the teaching and learning requirements on top of a free and open source desktop (*buntu)
