disable touchpad while typing

Hi!
while typing on a laptop quite frequently I accidentally hit the touchpad, sometimes writing a whole line in the wrong place. If I remember correctly, windows had the option to automatically disable the touchpad when you are typing by specifying the number of seconds the touchpad would be inactive after you hit a button on the keyboard.
I think such a feature may be useful in Ubuntu too.
