Disable the specified rc scripts from the kernel command line
It would be great to have some ablity of disabling a specific startup script from the kernel's command line.
For example, my notebook have a BAAD via integrated gpu :S and i hacked my gdm initscript to watch for the nogdm switch in the kerel commandline, and then doesn't start up, and when i tryed to install ubuntu with amd64 support, no any display in the live cd, but i wanted to test anything before install, so I have to make a special livecd what don't start gdm to I can edit the xorg.conf before the system hangs with the autogenerated one.
So my idea is to have some cmdline switch like this:
(...ro quiet splash...) noinit=
It's can be implemented as a function in the lsb init functions to check how the service can start or not.
P.S.: Sorry for my baad english!
