Whiteboard

What are the top 10 features people expect from an IDE? How can those 10 features be reflected in the desktop UI?

From Wikipedia:
  * An integrated debugger // There is ddd but it needs a facelift, or winpdb but it is python only
  * Source code editor
  * Simple integrated graphics editor
  * Compiler and/or interpreter
  * Build automation tools
  * Version control system
  * Class browser
  * Object inspector
  * Class hierarchy diagram
  * Something that "glues" all the above together in an easily discoverable way
