Enable geoclue where available in GNOME
GeoClue is already integrated into GNOME, but was left out of karmic for stability and space reasons. There is a python and dbus API available that should be incldued as well so that OEM services can provide OEMs custom solutions as desired.

seb128, 2009-11-25: desrt wrote the test program during uds and tried with gps devices he got access to, the feedback is not the good, the geoclue stack is not very stable and requires work, it has been suggested to delay to next cycle since the team doesn't have the ressources to work on that this cycle and there is no active upstream maintainer either
pitti, 2009-11-25: thanks; taking off the lucid list then. Also setting back to discussion to revisit this for 10.10.
