Whiteboard

The session has been used to discuss the coming GNOME changes and what we will do for lucid:

* new glib and gtk will be shipped in lucid, have an uptodate platform is useful for people who will use lucid to write softwares
* GNOME 2.30 updates will be considered for most components, there is some reserves on some components:
- gnome-keyring might see structural changes, the goal is to have something common used cross desktop for GNOME3, we might want to stay away from this update
- the evolution stack is being switched to dbus this cycle which is quite some work and will be hard to stabilize, lucid will keep using the karmic versions
- tracker might be considered, the indexer will not be used but it also allow application to sent it datas which could be useful
* there is no need to get the instrospection work sorted this cycle
* the other GNOME3 components will keep being updated in universe
* the cairo shedule need to be checked with upstream before deciding on which version we will use
