== Goal ==

Discuss collaboration goals between Debian-Edu and Edubuntu.

=== Areas of collaboration ==

* Getting ubuntu-only educational packages into Debian
* How to get Ubuntu clients integrate in a Debian-edu network
  * it is possible that the debian-edu-config package already have all the necassery config to integrate a Ubuntu desktop with a DebianEdu/Skolelinux enviroment. This should be investigated and tested

=== Edubuntu Config Package Requirements ===

(a) Configure LDAP client support (libnss-ldap)
(b) Configure Krb5 client support
(c) Configure NFSv4/Krb5 client support
(d) Check which cfengine scripts in debian-edu-config apply to EduBuntu (Debian Bug #311188)
(e) check what of the above tasks can be done by debconf in Ubuntu
(f) make sure that profiles ($HOME/.<dot-dirs>) do not interfere... Debian vs. Ubuntu software

Check http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/debian-edu/trunk/src/#_trunk_src_
esp. http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/debian-edu/trunk/src/debian-edu-config/#_trunk_src_debian-edu-config_
