Future integration of the Ubuntu Manual into the desktop

Registered by Benjamin Humphrey

Laying out the plans for the future of the Ubuntu Manual Project (ubuntu-manual.org), and how we can better integrate the work that UMP does into Ubuntu. Possible ideas:

 * Sub-domain at http://manual.ubuntu.com that points to ubuntu-manual.org

 * A mention in the Community slide of Ubiquity.

 * Packaging the manual and putting it in the Software Center.

 * A mention next to the download link for Ubuntu at http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download (Maybe something along the lines of "While you're waiting for the download to complete, why not have a read over "Getting Started with Ubuntu 10.04?")

 * HTML5 interactive online Ubuntu support website using the content from Getting Started with Ubuntu 10.04. (Work in progress, will talk more about this at UDS).

 * Closer collaboration with the Canonical training and support project - sharing of user research and statistics for most commonly asked questions and support requests would be an excellent start.

 * What else the Ubuntu Manual Team can do to help make Ubuntu documentation ROCK.
