Registered by Matt Thompson

I suggest using f-spot as the default application to be used to import photo's from a digital camera.

Whiteboard

I'd like to submit a patch for this. I looked around in the source packages for gnome-volume-manager in the Ubuntu repositories and Gnome svn, but was not able to find where that preference is set. I did find a line that reads "<default>gnome-volume-manager-gthumb %h</default>" in /usr/share/gconf/schemas/gnome-volume-manager.schemas on my system. I edited that line to read "<default>f-spot-import %h</default>". I then made a new user, logged in, and inserted the SD card from my camera. I selected "import" in the pop-up window, which led me to the gthumb importer. If you have any idea where this can be set in source send me an email pax at rutgers d0t edu.
