Whiteboard

Have a skeletal extension checked in, and am in the process of wiring up Places records to local CouchDB.

pitti, 2009-06-19:
 - You say that there won't be an UI, but at the same time the user can "enable bookmark syncing through U1". Where will this switch be?
 - I assume that bookmarks will always be synchronized between firefox and couchdb, and the user merely says whether or not to replicate these bits to other computers? Please clarify this in the spec.
 - Please add necessary packages to implementation/code changes.
 - Please add work items (I added a template below); use "TODO" or "DONE" as states

Work items:
package firefox-couchdb: TODO
write MIR for firefox-couchdb: TODO
seed firefox-couchdb and get it into default install: TODO
