Better naming of sections in Synaptic/ Restructuring of sections in Synaptic

The current classification of programs in Debian, and subsequently, in Ubuntu, is at best, "nerdy". It might be useful for hardcore geeks, but it is hardly useful for human beings. Things are becoming critical when you take into account 15.000+ packages.
Also, packages should have better descriptions. Users should be invited to review descriptions, maybe in some section of Ubuntuforums.
Of course, searching for a package is a solution, provided you _know_ the package name, or your desired package has a non-geek description.
