Nvidia driver 1.0.9755-r1

I have found the Nvidia driver 1.0.9755-r1 to be the most stable available ( at least in 64 bit).
I have used many Linux distros and always had a lockup problem. After more research I was prompted to compile the wrapper/driver for Nvidia 1.0.9755-r1, and it has finally fixed this!. Its is not the most up to date, but it is rock solid.
Hopefully you will use the 2.6.23 kernel too, it looks promising.
