automatically clean up the desktop when device is mounted/unmounted

when a device is mounted or removed, an icon apears on the desktop. this icon appears sometimes behind another icon, or not in line with the rest of the icons. When a device is removed, theres a gap in the row of icons on the desktop. Ubuntu should automatically clean up/ sort the desktop icons when mounting or unmounting a device to have a cleaner look.
