apt-zeroconf cache

Registered by Brian Ealdwine

apt-zeroconf is an apt cache which uses zeroconf/mdns to check for other systems on the local network which have current packages, and downloads from the original location if not. This may not be ready for prime-time, but it is a good feature to keep on the table for the time when it reaches readiness.
