Extended Application menu

Extend the funcionality of the application menu. When we have a lot of applications installed, it is hard to find something.
I propose: Include a search field and an "All applications" option. Include "Recent applications" option showed by default on opening.
Create subcategories for applications, and extend the menu when choosing his parent category. Include favorite applications for these subcategories.
