Wake up from suspend at a given time -- alarm clock music player

Hi,

It would be great to have an application that would use "/proc/acpi/alarm" or rtc-acpi (2.6.18+) to wake the computer up from suspend at a defined time, and play a song, as an alarm clock.

The programmed wake-up could be dealt with by gnome-power-manager, but I am not sure about how to trigger the music player.
