Hi Fabrice,

I followed the new package process, you can consult the needs-packaging bug : LP#790362 It was sponsored and is now waiting in new. I'll contact the debian maintainer to see what is plans are, I agree it would make more sense to merge from debian but I wanted to have something in the archive early so it could get proper testing this cycle. I'll contact some people at Canonical corporate services, they were very interested in sssd at last UDS and could probably do some testing.
