I fully agree with you, it's just that policies are usually hard to circumvent. The first step in any case is to get 1.5.x in oneiric so we have something to SRU in natty. I have started work on that using the great packaging of Fabrice Coutadeur, ding-libs is in the upload queue and sssd will follow when it's goes trough.
