In response to comment #26 by Michael, keeping sssd 1.5.x out of Natty seems rather silly, as sssd 1.2.x never, ever worked with Natty in the first place. sssd 1.2.x might have compiled, and been available for install, but it was never functional. The restrictions on version upgrades in SRUs are there to ensure compatibility within a release. Since sssd have been broken the entire time, I would think the correct thing to do in this case would be to deploy the newer version, rather than hoping someone is willing to invest their time and energy in trying to get 1.2.x to work.

Just my $0.02.
