Ok, I followed the instructions on the wiki. I disabled autospawning for both users and then started pulseaudio as specified on both users. Then on user 1 I started playing a .ogg. Opened sound preferences and and verfied that the music player showed up. Switched to user 2. (Could still hear user 1 sound. Login was silent) Opened sound preferences and switched to the same out put device as user 1 (I have to sound output devices: headphones and internal sound card). Tried to play another song with totem. Totem opened, but wouldn't play. I could still hear user a sound. After awhile user 1 's song finished and user 2 's song started, and then eventually finished. Stopped both pulseaudio instances.
