It took me a good few hours to figure out why my second hard drive was still full after deleting everything. (everything was in the hidden .Trash-me folder)

Nautilus should instead move the file to the user's local trash (located ~/.Trash) as this would be the expected functionality and would keep the backup of the deleted files. If there is not enough room in the local drive then prompt the user saying "The file x cannot be moved to the trash. Delete them anyway? You will not be able to recover it. [Skip] [Skip All] [Delete] [Delete All] [Cancel]".

If moving the file from the removable disk to the local trash is logically impossible, Nautilus should just delete the file.
